In February 2004, Mario started to consult with the firm to provide expertise in the areas of marketing and advertising. After putting together a successful marketing campaign, and sharing Mr. Preble's vision for the firm's expansion, Mario became the all around handyman in the administrative areas of the firm. Mario, a native of Puerto Rico, left the island at the age of 17, the summer after his graduation from the Colegio Ponceňo, to become a Radioman in the U.S. Navy. He spent 8 years in the service where he had the opportunity to travel and adventure through many lands of the Orient, and where he raised to the rank of E-6 (Radioman First Class Petty Officer). At 26 years of age Mario left his Navy career to pursue the world of Sales and Customer Service. 18 years later (after gathering valuable work experience in newspaper advertising, sales, customer service, marketing and promotion, management, and training), he joined our firm. His not having prior exposure to law firm management brought to the firm a layman's view of the legal field which has been a tremendous asset in helping to shape the firm's policies to ensure the delivery of the highest caliber of customer service for our clients. A creative artist with many hobbies, from time to time you may find him doing interior design, painting and home color consultation, landscape, modern acrylic painting, and cooking. As a playful person you may find him either sharing time with his friends, playing Dominoes, Hearts, Euchre, Spades, or just about any board or card game, or even dancing! He also enjoys hiking and the outdoor activities our area has to offer. Being very personable and simpatico, Mario is also very approachable. He is a great conversationalist with a keen sense of humor, and spiritual outlook of life. Mario has command of the English language and is also fluent in Spanish, as well as conversational Italian and French.
